“ One of the best f not the best dim sum I've ever had. If you are in china town looking for high quality vegan food I suggest. ”
“ I love this place! It gets very busy on the weekends, so be patient, it is worth the wait. There are also a lot of gluten free options, there is a special menu for those. Taro croquettes are a must, same with the gluten free steam dumplings. ”
“ Wow just wow. Small local business. Excellent food. Great customer service. Feels so homey this is perfect for a casual night out w delicious food ”
“ Clean setting in Chinatown for vegan Chinese which is perfect for my vegetarian mom who prefers to eat Asian food when we dine out. The dishes, albeit some might be heavy or saucy, are traditional in flavors. I, unlike my mom, am not vegetarian but the flavors and textures are very satisfying for both me and my mom. The prices are excellent too. ”
“ I ordered the shrimp dumplings, turnip cake, and fried taro dumplings to go and everything was delicious! The flavor profiles were exactly like the versions with meat. The takeout experience was really smooth as well. I received a text when my order was ready (right on estimated time) and the person who gave me my order was very friendly. Definitely recommend even if you're not vegan! ”
“ Last night's pop ups adventure 2x pop ups 2x claw machine Arcades Attacked the Japanese mart to feed our hunger. Walked about 15,112 steps while carrying our freebies. Got to Chinatown for an early dinner, decided on a vegetarian meal. - mushrooms Cheung fun - salt & pepper ribs - house dumplings - steam taro dumplings - mushrooms congee - sticky rice in lotus leaves - mock beef cheung fun Service was excellent as always. One of the staffs reccomend the steam taro dumplings and it was good. Heck EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! ”
“ I walked in and was seated right away. I want to mention right off the bat that service was exceptional. Everyone was so kind, friendly, smiley and attentive. I left feeling very happy and warm. Sometimes this alone makes the food taste good haha I loved that everything on the menu was vegetarian/vegan so I didn't have to worry about anything and had the pick of the lot! I got the baked meat bun which was sweater than I expected and it came with 3 big portioned buns! It was so good and came highly recommended, I really enjoyed it. I also got the sticky rice shumai and I loved this, it was so good! And lastly I got the spicy schezuan pepper pot which was so so delicious. It did not come with rice and I wish it was a tad spicier, but I'm a fiend for spice that that might just get me. I enjoyed every bite and didn't really miss the rice much which says a lot. I asked for tea and got an entire pot of tea, which was cozy and nice. I highly recommend a visit here! ”
“ If you are vegetarian (or vegan) this is a must go place for you! They cook their vegetarian dishes really well and we came on a weekend for an early dinner and this place is packed. The dishes are not only flavorful but packed with different vegetables options and some have a good variety in just one dish. This place makes you feel like it's okay to eat out because you are still getting your vegetables and proteins (from the soy & setan, etc.) We go the Buddha delight house special and another vegetable medley dish that I can't remember what the name was called. The Buddha delight was so good and flavorful. I love the crispy taro. Service was efficient even though it was busy and I enjoyed the complimentary hot tea served as well. I need to come back soon! This is now my favorite vegetarian place in New York. ”
“ Bodhi is a great spot for some vegan/vegetarian Chinese delights. They were packed on the Thursday night my friend and I dropped by. Their vegetarian style dimsum were unique and reminiscent of the typical dimsum but with their veg twist. Buddha's delight chow mein: a highlight of the night, crispy sauced noodles filled with all types of vegetables (sauced dried bean curd, carrots, mushrooms, Napa cabbage, bok choy). I was surprised by the heavier ginger flavor, but it was a great touch to a hearty noodle dish. Veg shrimp dumplings: the skin was done well- the filing was alright - not as good as a typical dim sum shrimp dumpling... but still good. Sticky rice siu mai: an unexpected twist on a dim sum classic. The sticky rice was a great compliment to the skin. Ribs in black bean sauce - the black bean sauce carried the seitan(?) Ribs with the peppers on the side. Tip- I always love mixing the extra sauce with the other dishes I order to make my other dishes a little bit more flavorful. The black bean sauce was a tasty delight! Great spot to take friends for some good vegan and vegetarian friendly Chinese food and it comes with the standard Chinese hot tea fare! ”
